Lesbian couple take turns carrying baby in both of their wombs

Meet Donna and Jasmine Francis-Smith, wives who met back in 2014. They are the first lesbian couple to have carried their baby in both of their wombs. They call it a “shared motherhood” procedure.

While Donna provided the egg and incubated it in her womb for 18 hours after it was fertilized, it was then transferred to Jasmines womb, and she delivered the baby 9 months later. Otis, their son, was born healthy and ready to take on the world.

If you were in a lesbian relationship, would this be something you felt like you needed to do in order to feel connected to your baby?
